Luciano Lodi
Bariton
Baritone Luciano Lodi (born in Hamburg in 1990) has been performing regularly with SCHOLA HEIDELBERG since 2015. He has premiered numerous works and is featured on various first recordings (including works by J. M. Sánchez-Verdú, A. Cattaneo, and B. Scheuer).
In addition, Luciano works throughout Germany as a freelance concert singer. He specializes in historically informed performance practice and works with relevant ensembles such as lautten compagney BERLIN, l'arpa festante, Ensemble HanseBarock, the Bremer Barockorchester, and others. Most recently, he was a scholarship holder of the Collegium Vocale Gent and the Int. Bachakademie Stuttgart.
With his current self-produced work “NACHT – ein Grand Prix des Kunstliedes” (NIGHT – a Grand Prix of Art Song), he is attempting the balancing act of staging a song recital in the style of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Away from the stage, Luciano loves his racing bike, fashion and music of the 90s, his second home Italy, and the color blue.
