Udo Grimm

Udo Grimm studied at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover in Prof. Hans Deinzer's class and then in solo classes. In 1990, he won first prize in clarinet at the University of Hanover. From 1987 to 1991, he was a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. He is a founding member of the Neues Ensemble Hannover and a regular guest with orchestras such as the Kammerensemble Neue Musik Berlin, Ensemble Modern, and Ensemble Resonanz.

Udo Grimm has been a member of KlangForum Heidelberg since its founding in 1992.
