This is not the first time that KlangForum Heidelberg has performed at the Heidelberger Kunstverein. And this year we are especially looking forward to it, as KlangForum Heidelberg is part of the grand celebration marking the Kunstverein’s 150th anniversary.
Since its inception, the Heidelberger Kunstverein has provided important intellectual impetus for the relationship between music, art, culture, and society. The fact that such an association has been carrying out this work for 150 years—and continues to do so—is an admirable and encouraging achievement! With this in mind, the KlangForum extends its best wishes for this milestone celebration and hopes that another 150 successful years will follow.
The ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m.; admission is free.
