Traditionally, the Christmas concerts mark the conclusion of each intense and eventful concert season for the KlangForum Heidelberg. Works by composers from various centuries bridge the gap between early music and contemporary vocal music, further illuminated by Christmas chorales and instrumental pieces performed by the aisthesis consort.
To conclude our Bernd Alois Zimmermann Year, the composition "Katawassia" by Zimmermann’s student Dimitri Terzakis – written in the wake of Zimmermann’s death – will be performed in December 2018.
