Festival: 20 Years of SCHOLA HEIDELBERG_ensemble aisthesis – Concert III

Hebelhalle Heidelberg

Willem Boogman

The festival concludes with a French touch: in addition to another gem from the rich legacy of René Leibowitz, a profound and resonant key work by spectralist Gérard Grisey, and a world premiere by Dutch composer Willem Boogman, the program also features two masterpieces by Claude Debussy, who would have celebrated his 150th birthday this year and is considered a father of modernism in many ways.
