"Scardanelli’s Tower, Out of Season…" is an interdisciplinary exploration of Hölderlin’s artistic biography, presented as part of the Baden-Württemberg Literature Summer and in commemoration of the 250th birthdays of Friedrich Hölderlin and Friedrich Hegel. The project integrates (with the thematic sensitivity to psychosocial processes and contexts proven in the Prinzhorn project) extremes, including “eccentricity” (Hölderlin, according to Alexander Honold), found in some of the modern settings of Hölderlin and Hegel’s works.
Due to COVID-19, the originally planned Holliger cycle "The Seasons" cannot, unfortunately, take place in this concert – due to the size of the ensemble.
