At the international symposium of the Swiss Philosophical Society (SPG) in Basel, leading scholars in the field will address one of philosophy’s fundamental questions: "What is the mind?" To bring the lectures and discussions to a festive close, SCHOLA HEIDELBERG and the ensemble aisthesis, under the direction of Walter Nußbaum, will premiere Dániel Péter Biró’s "Scholium 2." In this work commissioned by the SPG, Biró continues his musical exploration of Spinoza’s ethics in six movements.
